Social Action

Adhering to the principle of “Tikkun Olam”, the Repair of the World, the Chavurah aspires to behave and act supportively and beneficially to our members as well as others in need in the Valley. As such, we support:

• An annual community seder at Passover

• Two Valley food programs: Meals on Wheels and Vaughn Food Pantry

• The weekend backpack programs for students at our local schools

• Two local roads in the NH “Adopt-a-Highway” program

Additionally, we act as an available resource for those in need of lifecycle event observances and access to Jewish services.
